Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 was the Fairplain Elementary School Social Studies Fair. Participation in this fair was optional. Twenty-six projects were entered in the categories of Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, State and Local History, US History, and World History. Students did a fantastic job of researching and presenting on their topics impressing the judges with their preparation. The winners in each category will participate in the Jackson County Social Studies Fair on February 12 at Ripley High School. We are proud to have them represent our school. Congratulations!
