The first graders have been studying the Human Body. They invited Ryan Ruben, a physical therapist, and Zack Tennant, a pharmacist, to talk to them about their jobs and the education they had to have to be prepared. Ryan Ruben talked to them about things he does each day to keep people's bodies healthy, and showed the students how to keep their "range of motion" with their muscles.
Zack Tennant talked to them about what all he does each day as a pharmacist. He also did a germ experiment with them to show them the importance of washing their hands. He gave them drawstring backpacks and stress balls to keep. Those are cool!
Thank you all for sharing your careers with us! We appreciate you.
