Teresa Hager from the Jackson County Animal Shelter recently came to the school to talk about the shelter and educate our students on what all the shelter does for our animals. She brought a wonderful dog with her to share with the students. That dog has since been adopted from the visit here at school! Our students donated 3 wheelbarrows full of food, toys, snacks, and other items to the shelter! There were many happy fur babies and kids! Way to go, Jackson County Animal Shelter for protecting our animals ,and also to the students and families that donated. :)
The animals are soon going to enjoy a brand new animal shelter at the Jackson County Jr. Fairgrounds! Please consider adopting your next pet from the shelter. There are so many wonderful dogs and cats waiting to be loved. Adopt, don't shop!
