Good afternoon. This is a reminder that Friday, April 19, 2024, is an early dismissal day due to Faculty Senate. Students will be dismissed 3 hours early. All buses will arrive at their after-school stops 3 hours early. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.

The last day to order a yearbook is May 20, 2024. The cost for the yearbook is $33 or $37 for a personalized cover. Extra yearbooks will NOT be ordered so don't miss out! You can order online or through the school.

RvMS 8th Graders had the opportunity to participate in the Virtual Reality career simulator today. It was truly a neat experience - very life like. Mrs. Garner participated and learned how to perform knee surgery.

Good morning. Jackson County Schools will operate on a Non-Traditional Instructional Day on Friday, April 12, 2024. Students will not report to school but will need to complete their third non-traditional instruction day packet. Transportation personnel and school-based personnel will report on a two-hour delay.

Good evening. On April 8, 2024, Jackson County will experience a Solar Eclipse with a magnitude of 94.7%. The height of the eclipse will be around 3:13 p.m., coinciding with dismissal times for many of our schools. Jackson County Schools has taken a proactive approach to this occurrence by purchasing special glasses for our students so they can experience this spectacular event, which will not occur again until 2044. Last week, guardians should have received a letter from our school system explaining the procedures we have in place for the eclipse as safety is always our top concern. Congratulations to Jacob Burrows and Mason Kerns! They are the lucky winners drawn in our early order yearbook promotion, of 87 names in the basket. Thank you to the “Run with the Herd” program for the donation of the McDonalds gift cards. The last day to order a yearbook is May 20. Our early online promotion ends this Sunday. The cost beginning April 1 increases to $33.

This is the last week to save $5 on your yearbook order. Beginning April 1, 2024, the price will increase. Order online or bring your order and payment to Mrs. Cole. Students who order by Friday, March 29, 2024 will be entered into a drawing for a gift card.
