Good evening. This is a reminder that all Jackson County Schools are closed on Monday, May 27, 2024, On Tuesday, May 28th, Jackson County Schools will have a three-hour early dismissal, which is the last day of the school year for all students. If your child rides a bus, the bus will arrive at the drop-off location three hours before the normal drop-off time. As always, you can check the Zonar app to see the exact location of your child’s bus at any given time. Have a safe and wonderful summer!

8th Grade MacBook Collections Are on Monday, May 13. The Technology Department will collect student's MacBooks & chargers on May 13th. Please have your student follow these steps BEFORE turning in the MacBook: Remove all files, pictures, projects, etc., from the device. Remove skins and stickers from the protective case and MacBook. Please do not remove the protective case before turning in your device. Students must turn In the following on collection day: Power Adapter ($40 if damaged or missing) Power Cord ($15 if damaged or missing) MacBook Case ($50 if damaged or missing) MacBook (must have at least 50% charge)

The county Art Show will begin right after school at Ravenswood Middle and the Elementary Track Championship meet will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Ripley High School. WVGSA testing will be next week beginning on Tuesday, May 7th with ELA. Math will be May 8th and we will conclude with Science for 8th graders on Thursday, May 9th, 2024. RvMS 8th Graders had the opportunity to participate in the Virtual Reality career simulator today. It was truly a neat experience - very life like. Mrs. Garner participated and learned how to perform knee surgery.

Good morning. Jackson County Schools will operate on a Non-Traditional Instructional Day on Friday, April 12, 2024. Students will not report to school but will need to complete their third non-traditional instruction day packet.
